Joshua Young, MD

Dr. Josh Young is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained specialist in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. A Clinical Professor at NYU Langone Health, he is known for combining surgical expertise with academic rigor and clear, compassionate communication. He is widely published in the fields of clinical optics and artificial intelligence in medicine, and served as editor of the American Academy of Ophthalmology's BCSC Clinical Optics volume, the definitive textbook for ophthalmology board certification.


Dr. Young has received numerous awards for surgical and teaching excellence, and has been named by New York Magazine as one of New York's Best Doctors and recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. He has been honored internationally as Visiting Professor at Keio University School of Medicine in Tokyo; as an invited speaker for the Philippine Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery in Makati City and the World Ophthalmology Congress in Hong Kong; and as a Gold Medal Honoree by the Indian Intraocular Implant and Refractive Society in Amritsar. His patients include physicians, researchers, and university faculty who value meticulous, evidence-based care grounded in clarity, trust, and deep clinical experience.

Jonathan Kahn, MD

Jonathan Kahn, MD

Dr. Jonathan Kahn, M.D. is an ivy-league educated ophthalmologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at NYU Langone Health. He is board certified in ophthalmology and is also an internationally recognized medical journalist. Dr. Kahn was awarded the prestigious Super Doctors Top New York Rising Star recognition for his excellence in clinical care, as well as being recognized by NYU as Clinical Teacher of the Year.


He specializes in comprehensive eye care, microsurgery of the eye, cornea disease, cataracts, glaucoma, and contact lenses — from basic prescriptions to advanced surgeries for cataracts, cornea, and refractive corrections such as LASIK and PRK. Dr. Kahn earned his M.D. degree at Northwestern University and studied biomedical engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He trained as an ophthalmologist at NYU and pursued a subspecialty fellowship in Cornea & External Diseases at Tufts Medical Center / Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. Dr. Kahn has published over a dozen scientific papers and chapters on vision research. His current research interests include sustainability in cataract surgery and ophthalmic side effects of novel anti-cancer medications.

Anam Qureshi, MD

Anam Qureshi, MD

Dr. Anam Qureshi, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at NYU School of Medicine. With extensive experience in the field, Dr. Qureshi specializes in refractive cataract surgery, dry eye disease, keratoconus management, and bladeless LASIK/PRK procedures.


Dr. Qureshi earned her M.D. at Jefferson Medical College and completed her ophthalmology residency at New York University, where she also served as Chief Resident. She pursued advanced fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at Emory University. Dr. Qureshi has authored notable papers in keratoconus progression, femtosecond laser cataract surgery, and LASIK flap creation. She has been recognized for her work in developing innovative didactics and hands-on training courses for cataract surgery. Dr. Qureshi is committed to taking the time to provide personalized care for each patient and their specific goals.

Catherine Bukspan, OD

Optometrist

Catherine Bukspan, OD

Dr. Catherine Bukspan, O.D. is an optometrist who earned her degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. She graduated as a member of the international optometric honor society Beta Sigma Kappa and went on to complete a residency in ocular disease at the Providence VA Medical Center.


Her training focused on diagnosing and managing complex ocular disease including macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye disease. She also specializes in comprehensive eye examinations, prescribing glasses and contact lenses, and surgical co-management. Dr. Bukspan earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh, where she also competed on the rowing team as a coxswain. Dr. Bukspan looks forward to the opportunity to provide you with excellent and comprehensive eye care.
